Our mission
The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution was founded in 1890 with the mission of promoting historic preservation, education and patriotism. DAR is a nonprofit, nonpolitical volunteer women's service organization dedicated to promoting patriotism, preserving American history, and securing America's future through better education.
Piney Creek Chapter advances that mission locally through historic preservation projects, support for students and schools, service to veterans and active duty military, and observance of patriotic occasions including Constitution Week.

Membership
Any woman eighteen years or older, regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background, who can prove lineal descent from a Patriot of the American Revolution is eligible for membership. Prospective members are welcome to contact the chapter through our chapter page hosted by the Colorado State Society.
